Wine Barrel Top Lazy Susan

“Do you think you can… make something out of one of your uncle’s old wine barrel lids?” Now this was a fun challenge! The lid arrived in pieces that were badly warped. I went through several cycles of soaking them in water and clamping them to my workbench to straighten them. Planed and re-glued, and then re-routed the edge. Reduced a bottle of red wine to use as stain. And used a torch to restore some of the char. Made a pretty nice Lazy Susan.
